An ADHD reminder app in development

You remembered. Then life happened.

Tug is being built to help you come back to the task, take the next step, and follow through—with support that understands how easily attention can get pulled somewhere else.

The problem

A reminder is only useful if it helps you do the thing.

You dismiss a notification because you are busy. Later, you remember there was something—just not what it was.

Tug is for those ordinary moments where intention is real, but the next step slips away.

A small task quietly becomes tomorrow’s problem.

You know what you meant to do, but starting feels harder than it should.

Product direction

A kinder route back to the next step.

These are the ways Tug is intended to help as the app develops. The current preview shows task planning, a daily-progress view, and scheduled or repeating reminders.

01

Choose what needs doing.

Start with the small task that is sitting in the back of your mind—not an entire system to maintain.

02

Set up the support that fits.

Tug is being shaped around task planning and scheduled or repeating reminders, with room to choose what is useful.

03

Come back and follow through.

See your day, find the next step, and return without turning a missed moment into a verdict about yourself.

What’s visible today

Plan the task. See the day. Keep it on your device for now.

  • Current screens show scheduled and repeating reminders alongside a day-by-day view.
  • On iPhone, Tug can ask permission for alerts when the app is closed. Those alerts depend on device permissions.
  • The preview states reminders stay on this device for now; sharing and sync are future, opt-in layers.

Everyday examples

For the things that should not have to become a whole ordeal.

At home

The laundry that needs moving.

A small job that can become a much bigger one when the first reminder lands at the wrong moment.

Life admin

The appointment you need to schedule.

A task with several tiny steps, from finding the number to actually making the call.

Daily rhythm

The evening routine you want to keep.

A familiar intention that can disappear when the rest of the day runs long.

Our story

Built from a real need.

Tug began with a mother looking for better support for her daughter’s ADHD and the everyday tasks that ordinary reminder apps were not helping her finish. The goal is not more pressure. It is a more useful way to come back to what matters.

FAQ

What we know so far.

Tug is early. Where a decision is still pending, we say so plainly.

Tug is not making promises about app blocking, photo verification, automatic task completion, or a finished shared-helper feature. Those are not confirmed capabilities.
